After the success of last year's Week Against Prison, once again we'll
be organizing a week of anti-prison and prisoner support themed events
in Montreal as part of the lead up to Prisoners Justice Day on Aug. 10th.

Our first planning meetings took place on May 21st and June 6th. If you
would like to find out about our next meetings, please contact us at
montrealcontreprisons@gmail.com
Even if you can't be part of the planning meetings, you can still
contribute to the Week Against Prison by organizing an event during the
week of August 3rd to 11th - i.e. a film screening, art show or book
launch; a workshop or panel discussion; a radio show, party, or concert
- we can help promote your event, and if there is anything other kind of
assistance you need we can try to help.
You can also ask your organizations and networks to endorse the week,
and help to spread the word about Prisoners Justice Day, which this year
will feature Anti-Capitalist Summer Camp against Prisons organized by
CLAC Popular Education Committee (info@clac-montreal.net).
